RidgeWind have submitted an application for a wind farm on the boundary crossing the Scottish Borders and Midlothian, south of the village of Fala and just to the west of the existing Dun Law wind farm.  The final layout is comprised of 16 x 2.05MW turbines, with an installed capacity in the region of 32.8MW and with a maximum tip height of 115m. The proposed turbines will be similar in appearance to the existing turbines in the area. Please check back regularly for news on the Gilston project as it progresses.

-      Monday 30th January 2012 at Fala Village Hall, EH37 5SY. 2.30pm – 7.30pm.

-      Tuesday 31st January 2012 at McFie Hall, Heriot, EH38 5YE. 2.30pm – 7.30pm.

-      Friday 3rd January 2012 at Community Hall, Pathead, EH37 5PZ, 2.30pm – 7.30pm.
